It's the night before......
Showcase, the Irish trade show, here in Dublin at the RDS. Red Rufus is in Creative Ireland again this year, which is the Irish made and designed section.
To be honest at this point I'm exhausted! But my collection looks good to me, it's stream lined and so cute. I've tried to use Irish made socks where possible and they are so beautiful, in rich vibrant colours. I'm using my gorgeous coloured boxes for my stand, so the set up should not be too stressful, thank goodness. The show opens on Sunday to the buyers and runs until Wednesday - at which point I'll probably keel over!
So as I go to bed tonight, I'm saying (rather weakly), "Bring It On!" Hopefully by tomorrow evening it will be more like, "BRING IT ON!"
Oh and all the new stock is now on the website!
After the show - up-date:
The Show went really well - so hopefully SockAnimals will be popping up in a shop near you! We also made The Edit again this year - big thank you to Alanna Gallagher, who put the super display together. Loved the colour! The SockDog below is called Belinda, she's made from Donegal socks with Irish Donegal tweed in her ears - in this photo she's wearing a cute neckerchief from Little Green Dot.
