Slowly but surely...
Every Red Rufus is designed and handmade in Ireland. Rather than sewing a skin, we cut, sew and stuff socks to compile the SockAnimals. The process is not fast, it's a form of soft sculpture. We use the best quality socks, threads, toy stuffing and felt. This year we are introducing Irish tweeds to our designs to give our products the heritage look and feel they deserve. Red Rufus SockAnimals comply to the European Safety Standards required for the CE labelling, meaning they are suitable from birth.

We had a hilarious time last night when Paula returned from the shop and told us about the sock dogs (she knew nothing about them) and said they look exactly like our dogs and what a coincidence!
