Slowly but surely...
Every Red Rufus is designed and handmade in Ireland. Rather than sewing a skin, we cut, sew and stuff socks to compile the SockAnimals. The process is not fast, it's a form of soft sculpture. We use the best quality socks, threads, toy stuffing and felt. This year we are introducing Irish tweeds to our designs to give our products the heritage look and feel they deserve. Red Rufus SockAnimals comply to the European Safety Standards required for the CE labelling, meaning they are suitable from birth.

"Thank you Christina! Our grandson luvs his new casual reindeer. Happy everything 2020 to you and yours in Ireland.
"Dear Christina, The stockings arrived safe and sound today, I truly love them. They are even sweeter in real life - although very cute on line. If my kids did not already have stockings, I would be ordering some for them too. Creatively designed and beautifully made. Thank you! (Now hidden away for Christmas).
Warm regards, Gabriella"
"Hi Christina, I just wanted to thank you for receipt of Flora SockRabbit - she is really sweet and a perfect gift."
He’s so cute thank you!
He’s turned out really well. Love the colorful scarf & hat & the expression in the eye.
"Hello Christina, I just received Rollo in the post. Thank you very much. The sock dog looks beautiful! I am delighted with it. I am bringing it to Canada with me on Monday to give to my new niece. Thanks again! Kind regards, Lydia"
"Hi, Christina. Got those in the post today. My nieces in Frankfurt will love them.
Many thanks, Chris"
"Hi Christina, Thank you so much for all the sock dogs they are great and you are so talented . We had a hilarious time last night when Paula returned from the shop and told us about the sock dogs (she knew nothing about them) and said they look exactly like our dogs and what a coincidence! So we asked her what she did with them and she said she put them in a basket in the window!!! Thanks so much the kids will love them! "
